The nukampung mobile app enables residents to identify other like-minded neighbours who have similar passions without having to awkwardly knock on every door or impose our presence on unexpecting fellow residents. nukampung is the community lifestyle app we hope local town leaders and residents can use to build a happy community, to build a kampung for today and tomorrow.



App Features:

• Browse latest happenings in your constituency, town or the rest of Singapore
• Filter Happenings (events), Pasar (resource sharing), Just Kaypo (chat), Finding Kakis and Townhall
• Join or start kaki groups with like-minded neighbours
• Join or start conversations with organisers or kakis


As the project is piloted in Jurong East, Punggol and Toa Payoh, the app is not immediately ready for users outside these three towns. About the New Urban Kampung Research Programme



New Urban Kampung is a research-based programme by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to enhance the kampung spirit one community at a time. Through various disciplines, nukampung is both a campaign and a digital platform that uses data analytics and behavioural studies to envision community spirit in the future of housing in Singapore. Our programme seeks to develop community-centric tools and strategies, enabling future town planning and housing, designing towards a new generation of Kampung in our neighbourhoods.
